Mental Health Aware Yoga x Yoga Australia book launch
I am so delighted to share the recording of my very first book launch!
This online launch was hosted by Yoga Australia and was attended by members and non-members around the world.
Tune in to hear the Yoga Australia CEO Josh Pryor and I discuss the importance of mental health education for yoga teachers, and listen in as I read from the first chapter of the book.
To be honest, I was a little worried that it would be boring to hear me read, but there were so many comments about how much people loved hearing the first chapter, and multiple requests for an audio book!
At the end of the video, I opened up for questions about the book, but you’ll hear a few questions about both the online and hybrid Mental Health Aware Yoga trainings, so if you are thinking of taking one of our trainings, be sure to listen right to the end.
Dr Lauren Tober (she/her) is a Clinical Psychologist, Yoga Teacher, founder of the Yoga Psychology Institute, host of the A Grateful Life podcast and author of Mental Health Aware Yoga: A Guide for Yoga Teachers.
