Five Pranayama Tips for Anxiety
Join us for this Mental Health Aware Yoga episode to learn five simple ways to reduce anxiety with Ann Swanson (she/her), the author of the Science of Yoga Book.
Ann is a certified yoga therapist and author and she makes the tools of mindful movement and meditation non-intimidating and accessible worldwide, especially to people who feel like they can’t do yoga or their mind is too busy to meditate. She specializes in helping people safely and effectively manage stress and relieve chronic pain.
Ann will be joining us for the next Mental Health and Yoga Summit, starting on the 29th of August 2022, talking more about the science of yoga, including the neurological and hormonal mechanisms at play when practicing yoga, the vagus nerve, samskaras and neuroplasticity! It’s an interview you don’t want to miss!
The Summit is for Yoga Teachers who are interested in mental health and Mental Health professionals who are interested in yoga, and we do hope you can join us.
