Let’s Talk About the Pelvis
Introducing Yoga Teacher and Physiotherapist Lisa Fitzpatrick (she/her)!
In today’s video episode Lisa is going to talk about something that’s a little controversial in the mental health / trauma sensitive yoga space.
She’s going to explore why it’s important to talk about the pelvis.
Lisa is an experienced coach specialising in women’s empowerment. As a physiotherapist for 30 years with a special interest in pelvic floor rehabilitation, she studied & practiced many different yoga styles & meditation techniques to explore ways of facilitating well-being for the nervous system. Her work centers on holistic pelvic wellness, yoga, mindfulness meditation & women’s health.
Lisa is committed to providing a caring, safe, gentle, kind, non–judgemental and thorough approach to pelvic care through her clinic at Bangalow Health and Wellbeing and as part of Dr Sapna Dilgir’s clinic at Fred McKay House. She is also passionate about her Womankind Pelvic Floor and Hormone Balancing Yoga Teacher Training.
Lisa is one of the amazing speakers who is joining us at the Mental Health and Yoga summit, starting on the 31st of January 2022.
We’re going to be diving deeply into the world of yoga and mental health, and Lisa will be talking about pelvic health and pelvis trauma more deeply, so if you’re a yoga teacher or mental health professional we do hope you can join us!
