Stillness and Movement

Introducing Dr Ganesh Mohan!

Ganesh (he/him) learned yoga from childhood in the tradition of Sri Krishnamacharya through his parents, A. G. Mohan and Indra Mohan.

He trained in ancient studies including Sanskrit, Vedic chanting, and Ayurveda and then went on to become a modern medical doctor.

Ganesh directs the Svastha Yoga & Ayurveda trainings, including the Svastha Yoga Therapy Program across the globe and is also the co-author of numerous books including Yoga Therapy, Krishnamacharya, and Yoga Reminder.

In today’s video episode, Ganesh shares with us two important factors for mental health in the times we’re living in.

Tune in to hear his approach to mental health through the lens of yoga, and join Ganesh and Lauren in a brief and accessible practice.

Dr Ganesh Mohan is one of the brilliant speakers who is joining us on the Mental Health and Yoga summit, starting on 31st of January 2022.

MEET OUR FOUNDER

Hi, I'm Dr Lauren Tober!

As a Clinical Psychologist and Yoga Teacher of nearly two decades and the author of Mental Health Aware Yoga: A Guide for Yoga Teachers, I'm passionate about integrating yoga and psychology on the mat, in the counselling room and in the world.

With the growing interest in mental health and yoga, yoga students are attending yoga classes for the mental health benefits in unprecedented numbers.

In fact, 79.4% of yoga students report practicing yoga for the mental health benefits.

It's important that Yoga Teachers know how to support them.

I'm glad you're here.
