What Type of Yoga is Best for Anxiety vs Depression?
What type of yoga is best for anxiety vs depression?
Thanks for this week’s question Allison!
Despite what you may have been led to believe, there are no yogic prescriptions for depression and anxiety. There’s no such thing as a one-size-fits-all approach (as tempting as it might be!). This is just too simplistic.
Listen in to the video with Dr Lauren Tober, and you’ll learn:
- The importance of meeting your students where they are
- The qualities of practices and sequences (not prescriptions!) that are helpful in reducing depression.
- The qualities of practices and sequences (not prescriptions!) that are helpful in reducing symptoms of anxiety.
