Choice, Empowerment and Touch
In today’s video episode, join Dr Lauren Tober to talk about choice, empowerment and touch in yoga.
In the past few episodes we’ve talked about why touching your yoga students is not a good idea, but in this episode we are diving a little deeper to explore reasons why offering touch might actually be beneficial for students.
This topic is a little controversial, especially in the trauma-sensitive yoga space!
So come and tune into this episode and hear Dr Lauren’s perspective on some of the benefits of offering touch.
If you do offer touch or hands-on assists to your yoga students, we suggest checking out the previous few episodes on touch and consent and getting your hands on a pack of Consent Tokens.
