Kindness Meditation
Neal Ghoshal exudes kindness. If you’ve met him, you’ll know what we mean!
In today’s video episode, Neal (he/him) is joining Dr Lauren Tober (she/her) to share a gentle kindness meditation practice.
Join in and practice it yourself, and get inspired for your own teaching.
Neal has been practicing Yoga for over twenty years and teaching since 2003. He has taught in teacher training programs in Australia and New Zealand, has been senior faculty on Donna Farhi’s Advanced Teacher Training Program, and is a founder member of the Contemporary Yoga Teacher Training program, based in Auckland.
Neal is also a Mental Health Aware Yoga graduate, and our host for the hybrid trainings in New Zealand.
And lucky for us, Neal is going to be joining us for the next Mental Health and Yoga Summit, sharing more about his journey with kindness and how we can bring kindness into our yoga teaching.
The free five-day online Summit begins on the 29th of August 2022 and is especially for Yoga Teachers who are interested in mental health and Mental Health professionals who are interested in yoga. Come and join us!

MEET OUR FOUNDER
Hi, I'm Dr Lauren Tober!
As a Clinical Psychologist and Yoga Teacher of nearly two decades and the author of Mental Health Aware Yoga: A Guide for Yoga Teachers, I'm passionate about integrating yoga and psychology on the mat, in the counselling room and in the world.
With the growing interest in mental health and yoga, yoga students are attending yoga classes for the mental health benefits in unprecedented numbers.
In fact, 79.4% of yoga students report practicing yoga for the mental health benefits.
It's important that Yoga Teachers know how to support them.
I'm glad you're here.
